BERLINO (GERMANIA) (ITALPRESS) - "Nuovi "dottor Stranamore" si affacciano all'orizzonte, con la pretesa che si debba "amare la bomba". Il Trattato del 1997 che mette al bando gli esperimenti nucleari non ha visto ancora la ratifica da parte di Cina, India, Pakistan, Corea del Nord, Israele, Iran, Egitto, Stati Uniti, mentre la Russia ha ritirato la sua nel 2023. Il rispetto, sin qui, delle prescrizioni che contiene, non attenua la minaccia incombente". Così il presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, al Bundestag, nel suo intervento alla cerimonia della "Giornata del lutto nazionale", a 80 anni dalla fine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. "Si odono dichiarazioni di altri Paesi su possibili ripensamenti del rifiuto dell'arma nucleare. Emerge, allora, il timore che ci si addentri in percorsi ad alto rischio, di avviarsi ad aprire una sorta di nuovo vaso di Pandora - aggiunge il capo dello Stato -. Tutto questo viene agevolato dal diffondersi, sul piano internazionale, di un linguaggio perentorio, duramente assertivo, che rivendica supremazia. Porta soltanto a sofferenze e a divisioni rottamare i trattati, le istituzioni edificate per porre riparo a violenze che nelle nostre società nazionali consideriamo reati e censuriamo severamente, comportamenti che taluno pretende siano legittimi nei rapporti internazionali. Va ribadito con risolutezza: la sovranità di un popolo non si esprime nel diritto di portare guerra al vicino.
