Serangan ini merupakan balasan atas tewasnya komandan senior militan tersebut di Lebanon selatan.
Dalam pernyataan resminya, Hizbullah mengatakan jenis roket yang digunakan adalah Katyusha.
Roket itu menargetkan dua pangkalan militer Israel di Dataran Tinggi Golan yang diduduki.
"Sebagai bagian dari respons terhadap serangan dan pembunuhan yang dilakukan musuh di kota pesisir selatan Tyre," kata Hizbullah, dikutip dari Al Arabiya, Kamis (4/7/2024).
Media Israel menangkap rekaman asap mengepul di Golan setelah beberapa roket Hizbullah menghantam daerah tersebut.
Namun, Kementerian Pertahanan Israel mengklaim tidak ada laporan korban jiwa.
Pihaknya mengatakan, roket Hizbullah hanya memicu sirine peringatan berbunyi di sejumlah kota di utara.
Sebelumnya, Israel lebih dulu menyerang kota pesisir Tyre di Lebanon selatan pada hari yang sama.
Serangan itu menewaskan Mohammad Naamah Nasser, salah satu komandan senior Hizbullah.
