SUBANG, KOMPAS.TV - Satu angkatan dari lulusan Sekolah Dasar Negeri di wilayah Pantura, Subang, Jawa Barat belum ada yang diterima masuk SMP Negeri melalui sistem Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru atau PPDB melalui jalur zonasi.
Atas kejadian ini, orangtua siswa melakukan protes karena khawatir anaknya putus sekolah jika tidak mendapatkan sekolah.
Masalah ini bukan terjadi pada satu siswa saja, melainkan satu kelas yang terdiri dari belasan siswa dari SD Negeri Budi Daya tidak ada satu pun yang diterima.
Karena itu orangtua mempertanyakan sistem penerimaan siswa karena dari belasan siswa tersebut beberapa di antaranya bahkan jarak rumahnya ke SMP Negeri 2 Pamanukan hanya kurang dari 100 meter.
