So Crimea is on track to being cut off and unless something drastically changes, it doesn’t look like Russia will be able to stop it. It’s not just the direct effect on the war effort, but Russia is starting to show signs of domestic fuel shortages as well. According to Reuters, Russia one of the world’s largest oil exporters, is set to import fuel this month as Ukraine continues to burn their refineries across the country. There’s a bit of a snowball effect playing out right now that Russia is having a hard time stopping.
