Tambahan anggaran itu untuk memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan prioritas nasional, termasuk penguatan kekuatan militer dan peningkatan kesejahteraan personel.
Hal itu diungkapkan Sjafrie usai melakukan rapat dengan Komisi I DPR RI bersama Panglima TNI dan Kepala Staf Angkatan, Rabu (9/7/2025).
Menurutnya, tambahan anggaran itu juga akan digunakan oleh masing-masing markas besar angkatan untuk keperluan pembinaan kekuatan di lingkungan TNI.
Oleh karena itu, Kementerian Pertahanan akan mengajukan permohonan resmi kepada Menteri Keuangan dan Menteri Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional/Kepala Bappenas.
