La polemica si chiude con le scuse di Michele Zarrillo. Il cantante, dopo quanto accaduto durante il concerto di Sammichele di Bari, ha pubblicato un video rivolto al sindaco Lorenzo Netti, spiegando di aver ricostruito solo successivamente le ragioni della presenza del primo cittadino accanto alle strutture dello spettacolo.«Sono qui per porgere le mie scuse al Sindaco di Sammichele di Bari, cittadina che ci ha ospitato per un concerto bellissimo», dice Zarrillo.
