Abu Ubaida diketahui muncul dalam sebuah video yang dirilis pada Jumat (18/7/2025).
Kemunculan ini merupakan yang pertama dalam empat bulan terakhir.
Video sebelumnya dirilis pada (6/3), saat kelompoknya menegaskan komitmen terhadap gencatan senjata dan pembebasan sandera.
Dalam video terbarunya, Abu Ubaida mengatakan bahwa sudah empat bulan berlalu sejak militer Israel kembali melanjutkan agresinya di Gaza.
Ia menyatakan bahwa Israel telah melanggar gencatan senjata.
Kini, dikatakannya, pasukannya telah menerapkan taktik dan metode perang baru.
Taktik baru ini dirancang setelah para pejuang Palestina belajar dari konfrontasi sebelum-sebelumnya.
Menurutnya, metode dan taktik baru ini berhasil membuat tentara Israel terkejut.
"Para pejuang kami, setelah belajar dari perang dan konfrontasi terpanjang dalam sejarah rakyat kami, kini mengejutkan musuh dengan taktik dan metode baru." tambahnya.
Strategi kepemimpinan Al-Qassam saat ini adalah memaksimalkan kerugian pada pasukan Israel.
Selain itu, melakukan operasi dengan dampak tinggi dan mengejar penangkapan tentara.
