Hier zu sehen, ist der nagelneue 16 C-Dienst der Feuer- und Rettungswache Alsterdorf. Das Fahrzeug ist der erste ELW der Hamburger Feuerwehr auf Basis eines Mercedes Vito. Aufgrund der baulichen Gegebenheiten würde ein ELW auf Basis eines Mercedes Sprinter, wie an den anderen Feuer- und Rettungswachen nicht in die Fahrzeughalle passen. Aus diesem Grund wurde dieser Vito mit zwei Hänsch DBS 5000 im neuen Hamburger Design angeschafft. Das Fahrzeug befindet sich erst seit kurzer Zeit im Einsatzdienst.Shown here is the brand-new 16 C-duty command vehicle of the Hamburg Fire Department fire and rescue station in Alsterdorf. The vehicle is the first emergency command vehicle (ELW) of the Hamburg Fire Department based on a Mercedes Vito. Due to the structural conditions at the station, an ELW based on a Mercedes Sprinter — like those used at the other fire and rescue stations — would not fit into the vehicle bay.
