Depuis vingt-cinq ans, des fragments de parchemins bibliques exhumés par milliers près de la mer Morte déchaînent les passions… et les doutes.
Second volet de cette palpitante enquête : en 2017, peu après l'ouverture controversée du musée de la Bible, les chercheurs qui ont expertisé le fonds Schoyen identifient de nouveaux manuscrits douteux.
L'imposante collection a pourtant été supervisée par une équipe scientifique renommée, sous la direction du professeur Emanuel Tov, de l'université hébraïque de Jérusalem, qui fait autorité dans ces domaines. Comment et pourquoi une escroquerie de cette ampleur a-t-elle pu se reproduire ?
