➖Bugün dünyada işleyen sistem, sandığımız gibi sadece para, ticaret ya da ekonomi meselesi değildir. Bu sistem, insanın algısı üzerine kurulmuş büyük bir konsensüs, yani ortak bir kabuldür. Para dediğimiz şeyin fiziksel bir karşılığı yoktur; o, sadece bir ölçü birimi, bir kayıt, bir bilgidir. Ancak bu bilgi öyle bir yapı içinde organize edilmiştir ki, insanların emeğini, zamanını ve hatta geleceğini ipotek altına alabilecek bir güce dönüşmüştür. Tarih boyunca bu güç farklı formlarda karşımıza çıktı: toprakla, altınla, kağıtla… Bugün ise veriyle ve dijital sistemlerle karşımızda duruyor.Asıl mesele şu: Bu sistem sürdürülebilir mi? Hayır. Çünkü karşılıksız üretilen para, büyüyen borç ve merkezileşen güç, doğası gereği çöküşü beraberinde getirir. Bugün geldiğimiz noktada küresel borç sistemi, insanlığın taşıyamayacağı bir yük haline gelmiştir. Ve bu yük, sadece ekonomik bir kriz değil; sosyal, politik ve hatta medeniyet düzeyinde bir kırılmayı tetikleyecektir. Önümüzdeki süreçte mesele sadece “para” olmayacak; veri, enerji, internet altyapısı ve kontrol mekanizmaları üzerinden yeni bir düzen inşa edilmeye çalışılacak.
