Atap Bocor dan Nyaris Ambruk, Siswa SD di Situbondo Belajar dalam Kekhawatiran
SITUBONDO, KOMPAS.TV 0 Suasana belajar di SD Negeri 2 Bugeman di Situbondo, Jawa Timur, jauh dari kata nyaman.Atap yang bocor dan rusak parah, membuat siswa terpaksa belajar di ruang kelas yang nyaris ambruk.
Genteng berserakan di lantai, dinding dan langit-langit yang menganga menjadi pemandangan sehari-hari saat kegiatan belajar-mengajar berlangsung.
Agar tetap bisa mengikuti pelajaran, siswa harus bergeser dari lokasi atap yang bocor, meski rasa khawatir menghantui.
Pihak sekolah mengaku sempat melakukan perbaikan secara swadaya. Namun perbaikan tidak bertahan lama. Atap kembali rusak.
Kerusakan sekolah akhirnya mendapat perhatian dari Bupati Situbondo, Rio Prayogo yang sempat meninjau langsung.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Situbondo mencatat ada 364 ruang kelas SD dan SMP yang rusak, dengan kebutuhan anggaran hingga Rp64 miliar untuk perbaikan.
SD Negeri 2 Bugeman dipastikan masuk daftar prioritas rehabilitasi tahun ini. Pemerintah kabupaten menjanjikan, perbaikan segera dilakukan, demi masa depan pendidikan anak-anak Situbondo.
