Publik menilai bahwa Kapolri telah gagal mendidik polisi lebih humanis.
Insiden rantis lindas ojol diakuinya menjadi puncak kebrutalan polisi selama ini.
Desakan Kapolri mundur ini juga disampaikan sejumlah publik dengan meminta Prabowo bertindak dan mengganti Listyo Sigit.
Publik juga menyebut bahwa Listyo Sigit sudah terlalu lama menjabat sebagai Kapolri.
Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo meminta maaf atas peristiwa kendaraan taktis (rantis) Brimob Polri yang melindas seorang pengemudi ojek online (ojol) usai demo di Jakarta, Kamis (28/8/2025) malam.
Sigit mengaku menyesali peristiwa pelindasan tersebut.
Dia pun memerintahkan Divisi Profesi dan Pengamanan Polri untuk melakukan penanganan lebih lanjut.
Seusai tragedi ini, 7 orang anggota Brimob ditangkap dan langsung ditahan untuk dimintai pertanggungjawaban. (Tribun-Video.com)
