LIVE: Lindsay Clancy Due Back in Court After Mistrial in Case Over Killing Her Children
Lindsay Clancy is due back in a Massachusetts courtroom after her murder trial ended in a mistrial earlier this month. A jury deliberated for nearly 40 hours but failed to reach a unanimous verdict on whether Clancy was criminally responsible for the deaths of her three young children in Duxbury in January 2023. The judge declared a mistrial on September 4 and scheduled a September 29 hearing to determine the next steps. Clancy has pleaded not guilty to three murder charges. Her defence has since asked the court to dismiss the case and has also sought an investigation into the conduct of a juror who opposed her defence.
