Dalam kegiatan tersebut turut hadir Duta Besar Palestina Zuhair Al Shun, Panglima TNI Jenderal Agus Subiyanto, dan Rektor Unhan Letjen TNI (Purn) Anton Nugroho.
Rangkaian tatap muka secara resmi dimulai dengan dikumandangkannya lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya dan lagu kebangsaan Palestina, Fida'i.
Para kadet mahasiswa yang mengenakan seragam Pakaian Dinas Upacara (PDU) Kadet menyanyikan dengan lantang lagu kebangsaan mereka.
Acara dilanjutkan dengan menyaksikan tayangan rekaman pidato Presiden Prabowo Subianto dalam Sidang Umum PBB di Amerika Serikat, sambutan Duta Besar Palestina Zuhair Al-Shun, dan ditutup pengarahan dari Menteri Pertahanan.
Dalam pengarahannya, Sjafrie di antaranya menegaskan komitmen pemerintah untuk terus mencetak calon pemimpin Bangsa Palestina melalaui pendidikan.
Hal itu dilakukan dalam rangka mendukung kemerdekaan Palestina.
Usai menutup pengarahannya, Sjafrie lantas menyalami satu per satu para kadet mahasiswa Unhan asal Palestina.
Di sela-sela menyalami mereka, Sjafrie menanyakan sejumlah hal kepada mereka di antaranya terkait pekerjaan orang tua mereka.
Sjafrie lantas terkejut karena setidaknya ada dua kadet laki-laki dan satu kadet perempuan yang menjawab orang tua mereka bekerja sebagai militer.
Para kadet sal Palestina tampak cukup fasih menyimak dan menjawab pertanyaan Sjafrie.
