Yemen'de paylaşım savaşı: Suudi Arabistan ve BAE neden çatışıyor?

Yemen'de mevcut süreçte yaşananlar, tıpkı Sudan örneğinde olduğu gibi, bir ülkenin dış aktörler eliyle fiilen ikiye bölünüşünün kronolojisini sunuyor. Güney Geçiş Konseyi (GGK), gerçekleştirdiği yıldırım operasyonlarla Hadramut ve El-Mehra’yı ele geçirerek, petrol rezervlerinin %80’ini ve stratejik kıyı şeridini kontrol altına aldı. Bu hamle, güneyliler için bağımsız bir Güney Yemen devletine giden yolun en somut adımı oldu

Sürecin mimarı olan Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri (BAE), GGK’yı finanse ederek Kızıldeniz, Aden Körfezi ve Hint Okyanusu hattında bir güvenlik mimarisi inşa ediyor. Sudan’daki HDK ile Yemen’deki GGK arasındaki benzerlikler dikkat çekici: Her iki yapı da BAE tarafından eğitiliyor ve aynı silah sistemleriyle donatılıyor. Abu Dabi’nin hedefi, limanlar üzerinden sadece ticareti değil, askeri lojistiği de kontrol eden kesintisiz bir etki alanı kurmak.
Yemen sahasındaki asıl kırılma, kağıt üzerinde müttefik olan Riyad ve Abu Dabi arasında yaşanıyor. Suudi Arabistan, GGK’nın yükselişini dengelemek için "Ulusal Kalkan Güçleri" adında kendi vekil yapılarını kurarken, sahada iki Körfez gücü arasında bir vekalet savaşı kızışıyor.
