Menteri HAM: Vokalis Sukatani Tak Boleh Dihukum karena Berekspresi | Narasi Daily
Hal itu disampaikan Menteri Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM), Natalius Pigai, usai memberikan pemaparan kepada kepala daerah dalam retret di Akademi Militer Magelang, Jawa Tengah, Rabu (26/2/2025). Menurut Pigai, tidak ada lembaga yang bisa membatasi kebebasan berekspresi.Ia juga menilai bahwa Novi Citra, vokalis band Sukatani, tidak seharusnya dihukum karena berekspresi lewat seni. Terkait dugaan pemecatan Novi sebagai guru di SDIT Mutiara Hati, Banjarnegara, Pigai bilang pihaknya melalui Kantor Wilayah HAM Jawa Tengah telah menemui Novi dan pihak sekolah.
Pigai menyebut pihak sekolah tempat Novi mengajar membuka kesempatan untuk menerima kembali Novi sebagai guru. Pada 24 Februari 2025, status data pokok pendidikan (Dapodik) milik Novi telah diaktifkan kembali setelah sempat dinonaktifkan pada 13 Februari 2025.
