Pentolan band Dewa 19 itu menampilkan dugaan kumpulan fitnah yang disebut-sebut berkaitan dengan mantan istrinya, Maia Estianty.
Menanggapi kontroversi tersebut, Dhani menegaskan bahwa unggahannya bukan bentuk dendam pribadi, melainkan pembuktian kepada publik.
“Kita lihat nanti aja. Kita lihat apakah Maia akan membantah atau tidak," ujar Ahmad Dhani di kawasan Menteng Jakarta Pusat, Rabu (9/7/2025).
"Kalau tidak bantah, berarti bukan fitnah,” lanjut Dhani.
Ia menegaskan bahwa video itu dibuat sebagai respons terhadap berbagai narasi yang selama ini berkembang di masyarakat, bukan sebagai serangan langsung.
“Gak ada dendam, ini pembuktian ke masyarakat,” ungkapnya.
Dhani menilai jika tidak ada klarifikasi atau bantahan dari pihak Maia, maka ia menyimpulkan bahwa isi video tersebut bisa dianggap sebagai kebenaran.
“Kalau tidak ada balasan dari Maia kalau itu fitnah, saya lempar bola nih nah kalau nggak ada balasan berarti itu bukan fitnah,” terangnya.
Ahmad Dhani mengunggah dua video di channel Youtubenya yang dengan lantang memberikan judul bahwa video itu berisi fitnah Maia Estianty.
Isi video tersebut sebagaian besar adalah konflik masa lalu Dhani dengan Maia ketika mereka masih bersama dan dalam proses cerai.
