Al Politecnico di Torino Pini Zorea, docente dell'università israeliana di Braude, ospite di un corso di dottorato, ha difeso durante la lezione l'Idf definendolo «l'esercito più pulito al mondo». Il Politecnico condanna quanto espresso dal docente e precisa che il corso è di sua esclusiva titolarità senza alcuna collaborazione con l'Università di Israele.
«Appena venuto a conoscenza dell'inaccettabile esternazione, ho disposto, con effetto immediato, l'interruzione del modulo e la cessazione di ogni rapporto con il docente», commenta con fermezza il rettore Stefano Corgnati. Nel video il docente propone di aggiungere sullo striscione «Free Palestine» l'aggiunto «from Hamas» quindi racconta di essere stato nell'esercito e di averlo trovato «clean».
