Video shows how vertigo due to BPPV is diagnosed using the Dix-Hallpike maneuver. Furthermore the different types of BPPV causing different eye twitches (nystagmus) also shown (1:49) as well as what maneuver will work best to treat.Fatiguability, a key component of diagnosing BPPV with the Dix-Hallpike is also described (1:15). Fatiguability is when the vertigo attack severity diminishes when repeated more than once. If the vertigo does NOT fatigue with repetition, the dizziness is due to something else... usually brain/spine problem and not BPPV!!!
