Demikian disampaikan Juru Bicara Angkatan Bersenjata Yaman, Brigadir Jenderal Yahya Saree.
Dalam operasi tersebut Houthi menargetkan kapal milik Israel "MSC SARAH V" di perairan tersebut.
Houthi menyebut serangan terhadap kapal Israel tepat sasaran dan akurat.
Adapun dalam operasi ini Houthi menggunakan rudal balistik baru, yang baru saja menyelesaikan tahap uji coba yang berhasil.
Hanya saja Houthi tak memberikan informasi lengkap terkait nama rudal balistik baru tersebut.
“Rudal ini, yang mampu mengenai sasaran secara akurat dalam jarak jauh, menunjukkan efektivitasnya dalam operasi ini,” tambah pernyataan itu.
Namun demikian Saree merinci terkait fitur-fitur rudal barunya.
Rudal balistik baru Houthi memiliki kemampuan untuk mencapai sasaran secara akurat pada jarak jauh.
Selain itu senjata ini sebagai kelanjutan dari pengembangan kemampuan militer.
Seluruh upaya ini dilakukan sebagai dukungan ke Palestina secara militer serta membela Yaman dari agresi Amerika-Inggris.
