Phó Thủ tướng Campuchia: Kênh đào Funan Techo giúp giảm lũ tràn vào Việt Nam - PLO
Nếu lượng thông tin về kênh đào Funan Techo được Việt Nam, Campuchia và các nước trao đổi rõ ràng, đầy đủ thì những tin đồn tiêu cực về dự án sẽ không còn. Theo thông báo hồi tháng 8-2023 của Campuchia trình lên Ủy hội sông Mekong (MRC), dự án kênh đào Funan Techo được triển khai với mục đích phục vụ giao thông đường thủy nội địa và kết nối đường thủy với chiều dài 180 km và sâu 5,4 m cùng chiều rộng 80-100 m, trong đó gồm có ba âu thuyền để duy trì mực nước cho tàu bè qua lại và 11 cây cầu bắc qua kênh. Phó Thủ tướng Campuchia Sun Chanthol hồi đầu tháng 5-2024 đã khẳng định dự án kênh đào Funan Techo “có tác động tối thiểu đến môi trường” vì chỉ cần 5 m3/giây, tương đương 0,053% lưu lượng sông Mekong.#baophapluattphcm #tinnhanh #thoisutrongnuoc #kenhdaoFunanTecho #FunanTecho #Campuchia
