■INTRODUCTION
ロケット商会による小説『勇者刑に処す 懲罰勇者9004隊刑務記録』は、《勇者》という刑罰を科された罪人――懲罰勇者と魔王軍の戦いを描くダークファンタジー。2020年10月から小説投稿サイト「カクヨム」にて連載がスタートし、2021年9月にKADOKAWA（電撃の新文芸）より単行本第1巻（イラスト・めふぃすと）が刊行された。
本作は「カクヨムアワード2020」カクヨムユーザー賞【ユーザー推薦部門】第1位、「次にくるライトノベル大賞2021」【総合部門】第2位、「このライトノベルがすごい！2023」（宝島社刊）【単行本・ノベルズ部門】第3位【総合新作部門】第5位（※単行本作品としては新作1位）を次々と獲得。待望のTVアニメ化が決定した。

■STORY
勇者とは、この世で最悪の刑罰である。

勇者刑に処された元聖騎士団長のザイロ・フォルバーツは、
性格破綻者たちで構成された懲罰勇者部隊を率い、戦いの最前線を駆け抜けていた。
過酷な状況の中、ザイロは最強の生体兵器の一人、
剣の《女神》テオリッタに出会う。
「敵を殲滅した暁には、この私を褒め讃え……そして頭を撫でなさい」
生き抜くため、自らを陥れた者へ復讐を果たすため――。
《女神》と契約を交わしたザイロは、
