LBH Padang pun mengungkap beberapa kejanggalan terkait kasus ini.
Seperti keluarga Afif yang tak diperbolehkan mengikuti jalannya autopsi dan memandikan jenazah.
Ketua LBH Padang yang juga kuasa hukum keluarga Afif, Indira Suryani dalam keterangan pada Selasa (2/7/2024) mengatakan, pihaknya sudah bertemu dengan anak-anak lain yang sempat ditangkap oleh polisi.
Menurut Indira, anak-anak tersebut mengalami sejumlah bekas luka kekerasan seperti sundut rokok, bekas lecutan hingga tendangan.
Lebih lanjut Indira mengatakan bahwa keluarga Afif diminta menandatangani surat tak menuntut apa-apa.
Tak hanya itu, keluarga juga diminta mengatakan bahwa Afif adalah pelaku tawuran.
Indira mengatakan, pihak kepolisian sempat menyarankan agar jenazah Afif tak diautopsi dengan alasan akan jadi aib bagi keluarga.
Namun saat dilakukan autopsi di RS Bhayangkara, keluarga Afif dihalangi untuk mengikuti kegiatan tersebut.
Hal ini berbanding terbalik dengan kesepakatan awal yang menyebut keluarga boleh ikut proses autopsi.
Selain tak diperbolehkan autopsi hingga memandikan jenazah, keluarga juga diwanti-wanti agar tak memotret kondisi tubuh Afif.
