Sebanyak 34 dari 37 WNI Calon Jemaah Haji Ditangkap di Madinah, Arab Saudi, Dipulangkan ke Indonesia
TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Sebayak 34 dari 37 Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) Calon Jemaah Haji ditangkap di Arab Saudi dan dikembalikan ke Indonesia.Hal itu terjadi, karena mereka terciduk menggunakan visa haji palsu.
Mereka yang ditangkap ini, ditengarai adalah 37 calon jemaah asal Kota Makassar.
Penangkapan dilakukan di Madinah, Sabtu (1/6/2024), sekira pukul 11.00 waktu setempat.
Konjen RI Jeddah Yusron B Ambary mengatakan, 34 jamaah dari Indonesia telah bebas dan dipulangkan ke tanah air.
"34 dari 37 Jamaah Haji Non Visa Haji bebas dan telah kembali ke Indonesia pagi ini," katanya, Senin (3/6).
Sementara, tiga orang lainnya sedang ditahan di Arab Saudi untuk diproses hukum lebih lanjut.
