Mulè (FI): "Con il Progetto Vulnerabili Italia diventa primatista nella lotta al diabete"

(Agenzia Vista) "Il Progetto Vulnerabili dà concretezza al messaggio che solo pochi giorni fa ha lanciato Papa Leone XIV, il quale ha detto che la politica è la forma più alta di carità. Questo progetto, il primo del genere in Europa, fa dell'Italia una primatista in tutta Europa. Infatti grazie alla collaborazione con una grande azienda farmaceutica, la Novo Nordisk, e le associazioni del terzo settore, dà assistenza ai vulnerabili per la terapia del diabete tipo 1. Significa che per tutta la vita e in tutta Italia, questi soggetti che non si curano o hanno rinunciato alle cure riceveranno gratuitamente la terapia insulinica. È una forma di responsabilità sociale, non di carità, ma di presa in carico dei soggetti che non ce la fanno. In questo devo dire ancora una volta che l'Italia dimostra di essere un grande Paese, come ha fatto già con la legge per lo screening per il diabete tipo 1 e ce l'ha Chia, primi al mondo e per la terapia settimanale insulinica primi in Europa" così il vicepresidente della Camera dei Deputati Giorgio Mulè, a margine della conferenza di presentazione del Progetto Vulnerabili.
