Pulang dari Pati, Polres Jakarta Timur Gagal Tangkap Pelaku Penggelapan Mobil Bos Rental Burhanis

Kapolres Metro Jakarta Timur Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly mengatakan hingga kini pihaknya masih berupaya menyelidiki keberadaan pelaku penggelapan mobil berinisial RP yang dilaporkan.
Nicolas mengakui, polisi sulit meringkus RP karena diduga kuat menggunakan data diri palsu saat proses menyewa kendaraan Honda Mobilio dari Burhanis.
"Terkendala karena semua (data diri RP) yang disampaikan kepada kami tidak sesuai data yang ada data dalam KTP, ataupun surat-surat, dan alamat," kata Nicolas dalam konferensi pers, Rabu (19/6/2024).
Polres Jakarta Timur sebelumnya mengerahkan timnya ke Pati untuk menindaklanjuti penggelapan mobil Burhanis.
Namun, pihaknya hanya berhasil mengamankan mobil yang disewa pelaku.
Sebelumnya, Burhanis dan tiga orang rekannya bertolak ke Pati, Jawa Tengah pada Kamis (6/6/2024) karena mendapat informasi keberadaan mobil miliknya yang digelapkan dari titik GPS.
Setibanya di lokasi, Burhanis mendapati mobil miliknya tersebut dan hendak mengambil kembali kendaraan menggunakan kunci cadangan.
Nahas, ia dan tiga rekannya justru dituduh maling oleh warga lalu dikeroyok.
Akibat kejadian itu Burhanis meninggal dunia, sementara tiga rekannya yakni SH, KB, dan AS mengalami luka.
Dalam kasus ini, polisi telah menetapkan total 10 tersangka.
