Hal itu disampaikan di Lapangan Bhayangkara, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, Sabtu (21/6/2025).
Menurutnya Jenderal Sigit, pengganti Komjen Ahmad Dofiri yang akan purna tugas tengah disiapkan.
Dofiri pensiun sebagai Wakil Kepala Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia di bulan ini.
Kapolri memastikan tersedia banyak perwira tinggi Polri yang bisa menempati posisi Wakapolri.
Kepada wartawan, Jenderal Sigit melontarkan candaaan bahwa dirinya sedang mencari Wakapolri yang serupa dengan Ahmad Dofiri.
Ahmad Dofiri yang berada disamping Kapolri hanya tertawa mendengar guyonan tersebut.
