SOLO, KOMPAS.TV - Presiden ke-7 RI, Joko Widodo menyatakan mendukung penuh Partai Solidaritas Indonesia.

Jokowi juga menegaskan, siap bekerja keras untuk parpol yang kini dipimpin putra bungsunya, Kaesang Pangarep.

Jokowi meyakini, partai berlambang gajah ini akan menjadi partai yang besar dan kuat di masa mendatang.

Sosok Jokowi memiliki nilai penting bagi PSI. Ketua Dewan Pembina PSI, Jeffri Geovanie bahkan menyebut PSI akan mati jika tidak mendapatkan dukungan dari Jokowi atau anggota keluarganya.

Meski memberikan dukungan penuh terhadap PSI, namun Jokowi tidak menegaskan status keanggotaannya di PSI.

Sementara pengamat politik menyebut, kehadiran sosok Kaesang Pangarep di PSI sudah cukup mewakili tanpa Jokowi harus bergabung atau masuk ke PSI.

Setelah mendapat dukungan penuh dari Jokowi, mampukah PSI bisa segera menjadi partai besar dan diperhitungkan di panggung politik Indonesia?
