Bei einer Umfrage erklärten rund 40 Prozent der US-Bürger, sie könnten sich vorstellen, Musk zu unterstützen. Die Hürden sind jedoch hoch: strenge Wahlgesetze, drohende Klagen und kaum Chancen für Drittparteien. Musk bleibt trotzdem kämpferisch und will den Amerikanern laut eigener Aussage ihre Freiheit zurückgeben – politisch und wirtschaftlich.
