372 Guru Besar Kedokteran Indonesia dari 23 Universitas di Indonesia menyampaikan keprihatinannya atas kebijakan Menteri Kesehatan yang dianggap merugikan sistem pendidikan serta pelayanan kesehatan nasional.“Alih-alih membangun partisipasi, reformasi kesehatan yang dijalankan saat ini justru dirasakan eksklusif, tertutup, dan menempatkan banyak pihak sebagai “penghambat kemajuan”, termasuk kalangan akademisi, organisasi profesi, dan kolegium.” ujar salah satu Guru Besar di Aula Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia (FKUI) Salemba, Jakarta pada Kamis (12/6/2025).
Pernyataan para Guru Besar ini menindaklanjuti atas keprihatinan yang disampaikan pada 20 Mei 2025 lalu. Beberapa hal yang menjadi keprihatinan adalah implementasi UU Kesehatan oleh Kemenkes melenceng dari semangat awal reformasi sistem kesehatan yang kolaboratif dan berbasis mutu pendidikan, penghilangan independensi kolegium dokter, yang seharusnya diisi oleh para ahli dan guru besar, namun kini lebih dikendalikan oleh pemerintah, serta intervensi berlebihan pada pendidikan dokter.
“Kami tidak lagi dapat mengembalikan kepercayaan kami kepada Menteri Kesehatan untuk memimpin reformasi dan tata kelola kesehatan yang inklusif, adil, dan berlandaskan bukti serta kebijaksanaan kolektif bangsa dalam mencapai tujuan program Asta Cita.”
