This might be the most intense mission I’ve ever flown in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Today we take the legendary Boeing 747 Global Supertanker into California wildfire territory using FS Fire to battle massive forest fires from the air.
Flying a fully loaded 747 at low altitude through smoke, turbulence and mountainous terrain is absolutely terrifying...especially on the DOF Reality H6 motion simulator platform. Every retardant drop had to be lined up perfectly while trying to keep this giant aircraft under control. Flaps 30 and 150 knots leave very little room for mistakes.
