Viviamo in un'epoca nella quale siamo continuamente invitati a considerare ciò che possediamo come la misura del nostro valore. #Denaro, beni, successo, carriera, visibilità: sono questi, apparentemente, gli indicatori attraverso i quali siamo abituati a misurare la nostra ricchezza. Eppure esiste una ricchezza molto più profonda, invisibile e non quantificabile: il tempo. Questa la base della riflessione del filosofo Diego #Fusaro, espresse all'interno di "Un Giorno Speciale".
Fusaro invita a recuperare una dimensione oggi sempre più trascurata: la capacità di essere realmente padroni del proprio tempo e, di conseguenza, della propria vita. Pensare con la propria testa è centrale. La riflessione sul tempo infatti si inserisce, innanzitutto, in una considerazione più ampia sullo spirito critico.
Mantenere vivo lo spirito critico significa, prima di tutto, conservare la capacità di #pensare con la propria testa. Non significa necessariamente avere sempre ragione. Significa, piuttosto, essere disposti anche a sbagliare seguendo però la propria ragione, il proprio logos, invece di adeguarsi passivamente a ciò che viene presentato come pensiero dominante.
In una società nella quale l'opinione pubblica è sottoposta a una continua pressione comunicativa e mediatica, pensare autonomamente diventa dunque un esercizio di libertà.
Ed è proprio quando cominciamo a pensare autonomamente che possiamo accorgerci di quanto poco controllo abbiamo su una delle risorse più preziose che possediamo: il nostro tempo.
