Cubanos en la calle denuncian crisis: sin luz, comida ni medicamentos
El youtuber Nick Shirley, quien viajó a Cuba para documentar la realidad del país, difundió entrevistas realizadas a ciudadanos cubanos en la calle. Los testimonios muestran una población desesperada que describe la ausencia total de servicios básicos: sin electricidad, sin agua, sin alimentos ni medicamentos. Uno de los entrevistados afirmó que están viviendo 'peor que los animales'.En las grabaciones también se documenta cómo el equipo de Nick fue seguido y filmado de manera encubierta por personas que, según el relato del propio youtuber, se coordinaron con otro individuo que los vigilaba desde dentro del hotel. El clima de vigilancia y miedo queda en evidencia cuando varios cubanos se niegan a hablar frente a cámara por temor a represalias y a ser encarcelados.
Los entrevistados describen un sistema en el que los líderes del gobierno tienen acceso a combustible, vehículos de lujo y recursos, mientras el pueblo carece de lo más básico. Un ciudadano envió un mensaje directo a Donald Trump y Marco Rubio pidiéndoles intervención, y señaló que quienes defienden el comunismo solo pueden ser la familia Castro, personas con miedo o quienes se benefician del régimen. El conductor del programa anunció que intentará traer al programa a uno de los guardaespaldas de Nick, quien es de Miami, para ofrecer un testimonio de primera mano.
