Il Consiglio europeo non ha dubbi: Ursula #vonderLeyen dovrà ricoprire ancora una volta l'incarico di Presidente della Commissione europea. I leader europei hanno votato per un secondo mandato e per la nomina di Antonio Costa e la anti-Russia Kaja Kallas rispettivamente a presidente del Consiglio europeo e ad Alto Rappresentante per gli Affari Esteri e la politica di sicurezza.
Giorgia Meloni ha votato No a Costa e Kallas, mentre si è astenuta su von der Leyen. Ora manca solo l'approvazione del #Parlamento europeo, che il 18 luglio a Strasburgo deciderà con tutta probabilità di riconfermarla nel suo ruolo.
"È stato un colpo di Stato", dice Matteo Salvini accusando l'Europa di aver di fatto ignorato il voto dei cittadini.
Altri evidenziano un altro aspetto: Ursula e i messaggi spariti con #Pfizer sulla negoziazione dei vaccini contro il #Covid.
"Non riesco a capire come lei potrebbe essere rieletta", commenta Rob Roos, l'eurodeputato che per primo interrogò Pfizer sulle sperimentazioni. Intervistato dalla giornalista Martina Pastorelli sottolinea che "il caso dei messaggi di testo di von der Leyen riguarda 35/40 miliardi di euro. Molti soldi: tasse pagate dai cittadini. E non abbiamo idea di cosa è successo. Non è la prima volta che lei ha questo problema".
