Kunjungan ini mendapat kecaman dari Hamas dan Kementerian Luar Negeri Palestina.
Dikutip dari Anadolu Agency, Netanyahu memerintahkan tentara Israel untuk meningkatkan serangan di daerah Tulkarem.
Perintah ini muncul setelah ledakan bom yang menghanguskan bus-bus di dekat Tel Aviv, Kamis (20/2/2025) malam.
Israel sebelumnya telah melancarkan operasi militer besar-besaran di utara Tepi Barat beberapa hari setelah gencatan senjata berlaku di Gaza.
Operasi yang dijuluki Tembok Besi tersebut dilakukan di dekat Kota Jenin, Tulkarem, dan Tubas.
PBB mencatat 40 warga Palestina tewas dan 40.000 orang mengungsi akibat serangan itu.
Menanggapi perintah terbaru Netanyahu, Hamas menyebutnya sebagai tanda kebangkrutan politik dan militer.
Kunjungan pemimpin Israel ke kamp Tulkarem dinilai hanya untuk menutupi kegagalan dalam menghadapi perlawanan Palestina.
Kementerian Luar Negeri Palestina juga mengutuk kunjungan provokatif Netanyahu.
