Sinopsis: Lucas es un joven que intenta procesar el duelo tras la pérdida de su madre mientras vive con su hermano Tom, quien lucha por cuidarlo. Aislado y víctima de acoso escolar, Lucas encuentra consuelo en las leyendas locales. Durante una incursión en una vieja cabaña, conoce al "Virago", un monstruo mítico del bosque. Lo que inicialmente parece ser un protector para el niño pronto revela su naturaleza violenta y posesiva. A medida que la criatura comienza a eliminar a quienes se interponen en el camino de Lucas, el niño se ve atrapado en una espiral de sangre y secretos.
