Rekaman Viral! Kasus Kekerasan Pecinta Alam di Bitung, Polisi Proses Laporan Orangtua Korban
SULUT, KOMPAS.TV - Kota Bitung, Sulawesi Utara, dihebohkan dengan video yang viral di media sosial. Video berisi tindak kekerasan yang diduga dilakukan senior komunitas pecinta alam terhadap anggota yang baru bergabung. Orangtua salah satu korban melaporkannya ke polisi.Dalam video ini terlihat senior komunitas pecinta alam melakukan kekerasan kepada juniornya dalam kegiatan pendidikan dasar. Para anggota baru duduk berlutut dan ditampar para senior.
Kekerasan itu tak hanya dilakukan kepada junior laki-laki, tapi juga perempuan. Pelaku diduga para senior laki-laki dan perempuan.
Orangtua salah satu korban tak terima dengan kekerasan yang dialami anaknya dan melaporkannya ke polisi.
Kapolres Bitung, AKBP Albert Zai, menjelaskan kasus ini tengah diproses. Namun polisi juga menghargai bila ada upaya damai antara pihak pelapor dan terlapor.
Korban dan anggota baru lainnya dari komunitas pecinta alam mengikuti orientasi selama tiga hari. Namun dugaan kekerasan diduga terjadi di hari terakhir kegiatan, pada Minggu, 28 September.
