Bengaluru Stampede: RCB Marketing Head Arrested, Top Cop Suspended | Subscribe to Firstpost | N18GFour people have been arrested in connection with the stampede outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, which occurred during RCB’s first-ever IPL victory celebrations and killed 11 people on Wednesday. Those arrested include RCB's Marketing head Nikhil Sosale and 3 others from event management firm DNA and the Karnataka State Cricket Association. The Karnataka government also suspended five senior police officers, including Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda, an IPS officer. Meanwhile, the Karnataka High Court has issued a notice to the state government regarding the matter, with a hearing scheduled for June 10.
