A 20 anni dalla sua morte cinema e televisione celebrano Carlo Acutis , il giovane santo morto a soli 15 anni di leucemia fulminante, la cui canonizzazione è avvenuta l'anno scorso. «Il mio nome è Carlo» è il film in onda su Canale 5 domenica 27 settembre. Dal 15 ottobre al 21 al cinema sarà invece in cartellone il documentario ufficiale «Carlo Acutis-Il giovane santo» che è arricchito con testimonianze di persone che conobbero il giovane Carlo. Alla conferenza stampa anche Antonia Salzano Acutis, la mamma del giovane beato e autrice del libro «Il segreto di mio figlio», che ha ispirato il film diretto da Giacomo Campiotti con Samuele Carrino e Lucia Mascino. È la storia di un adolescente che fin dai suoi primi anni di vita rivela una profonda fede. Il film è stato girato prevalentemente in Lombardia. A Milano, le riprese hanno interessato gli istituti Marcelline e Leone XIII, piazza Tommaseo,Parco Sempione, il Duomo, la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, le Colonne di San Lorenzo, piazza Sant'Eustorgio, piazza Castello, l'Acquario civico e il Museo di Storia Naturale.
