SURABAYA, KOMPAS.TV - Kabid Humas Polda Jawa Timur mengungkapkan motif polwan membakar suami yang juga seorang polisi hingga tewas, dipicu lantaran suaminya kerap menghabiskan uang belanja untuk judi online."Motif daripada kejadian ini bahwa saudara almarhum Briptu Rian Dwi sering menghabiskan uang belanja yang seharusnya dipakai untuk membiayai ketiga anaknya dipakai untuk main judi online," ujar Kombes Pol Dirmanto di Surabaya, Minggu (9/6/2024).
Sementara itu, Dirmanto mengatakan pelaku berinisial FN sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dengan dijerat pasal KDRT.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, Briptu Rian Dwi Wicaksono selaku korban yang dibakar oleh istrinya yang juga seorang polisi dinyatakan meninggal dunia, pada Minggu (9/6/2024) siang.
