JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Presiden Joe Biden dinyatakan positif COVID-19, saat melakukan perjalanan ke Las Vegas, Rabu (17/7/2024).Dokter presiden Kevin O'Connor mengatakan Biden mengalami pilek dan batuk serta tidak enak badan.

Janet mengatakan kepada para tamu di konvensi yang digelar di Las Vegas bahwa presiden tidak dapat hadir karena dinyatakan positif mengidap virus Covid-19.
"Saya baru saja menelepon Presiden Biden dan dia mengungkapkan kekecewaannya yang mendalam karena tidak dapat bergabung dengan kami sore ini. Presiden telah menghadiri banyak acara, seperti yang kita semua tahu, dan dia baru saja dinyatakan positif COVID," kata Presiden dan CEO Unidos AS Janet Murgua dikutip dari US Network Pool/AP.
