I invited Nir Eyal over to Hong Kong to talk it through, because his new book Beyond Belief makes the case that what's really stopping us sits underneath our discipline and our motivation, in the beliefs we carry around without ever examining them. We get into the motivation triangle, the rats that swam for 60 hours, the actual formula for burnout, and the four questions Nir uses to swap out a belief that's causing him to suffer.
