We are still getting the latest updates tonight as the after effects of the massive weekend attack on Iran continue to impact the Middle East. Reports indicate that President Donald Trump has said the operation could go on for weeks. Trump spoke publicly Monday morning for the first time since the weekend attack on Iran. We are also learning more after the U.S. military said that the nation of Kuwait "mistakenly shot down" three American F-15E Strike Eagles during a combat mission as Iran attacked the country. "The U.S. Air Force fighter jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses," said the U.S. military’s Central Command. "All six aircrew ejected safely, have been safely recovered, and are in stable condition. Kuwait has acknowledged this incident, and we are grateful for the efforts of the Kuwaiti defense forces and their support in this ongoing operation."
