Solo Proving Grounds 2,962,459 Score - Top 1% Score w/ Contraverse Hold [Destiny 2]
Destiny 2 Call to Arms Event - Solo Proving Grounds: 2,962,459 Score - Call to Arms Top 1% Score w/ Contraverse Hold Voidwalker / How To Get Top 1% Score in Proving Grounds Guide. Just a video showing a 2.96 million high score in Proving Grounds activity for Call to Arms.Bungie made changes to the event which allows the use of positive modifiers without losing points, along with nearly all of the loadout restricted options being equal (no more 3x bow is needed). Power level only plays a slight part in the points difference, compared to before where it was near impossible to reach the thresholds at lower power. So the goal is still to these with the highest number of negative modifiers possible, while also using as many of the positive modifiers to support your build. Each of the activities have a different scoring system behind them, and here's how Proving Grounds works:
Points are based on how many enemies you defeat, alongside how fast you complete the activity. As such, you want to try and balance not clearing rooms too quickly where you'll despawn enemies that would otherwise spawn, but also going as fast as you can.
As for the run itself, it wasn't too bad imo. There's obviously a lot of room for improvement for speed, but I'm pretty sure I had barely any enemies despawn here for points. Something I didn't think to test was if the Phalanxes that come out of the doors when you're standing on the upper platforms in the tank room as a punishment (next to the snipers), if now count for points in the new system. You might be able to build up a few extra from those. But otherwise I'm pretty sure I got nearly all of the enemies that do actually spawn, without having too much downtime. Contraverse felt better here as there isn't hordes of enemies like The Coil, and it works well for consistently burning down the tankier targets or bosses.
The goal is to have at least one run with each activity since the update, and then I'll likely leave the event there. I've also posted 3 different Proving Grounds runs in the last week, so that's enough for me. I think this run will probably hold up for 1% at the end, but I feel like Heliostat will be difficult due to the nature of fireteams being naturally a lot faster there due to the split objectives vs solo.
