Rumah tersebut terbakar akibat tawuran antar kelompok yang terjadi pada Jumat (22/8/2025) pukul 00.30 dini hari.
Plt Kapolres Pelabuhan Belawan AKBP Wahyudi Rahman mengatakan dua rumah terbakar diduga akibat dilempari bom molotov.
"Tawuran tersebut mengakibatkan dua unit rumah warga terbakar akibat lemparan bom molotov,"kata Plh Kapolres Pelabuhan Belawan AKBP Wahyudi Rahman, Jumat (22/8/2025).
Selain dua rumah terbakar, tiga orang mengalami luka-luka.
Dari tiga orang tersebut, satu di antaranya personel polisi yang membubarkan tawaran.
Polisi itu terkena kaca mobil polisi yang dilempari massa.
Sedangkan dua warga lainnya terkena tembakan senapan angin.
Polisi hingga saat ini sedang memburu pelaku yang membuat dua rumah terbakar dan tiga orang terluka.
Pelaku pembakaran rumah diminta menyerahkan diri sebelum ditangkap.
Masyarakat pun diminta tenang dan tidak terprovokasi.
"Kami sudah membentuk tim khusus untuk mengejar para pelaku tawuran, terutama mereka yang melempar bom molotov, melakukan penembakan, dan mengakibatkan kerusakan serta korban luka. Kami tegaskan, segera serahkan diri sebelum dilakukan upaya paksa oleh pihak kepolisian," tegasnya.
