L'articolo scatenò polemiche opposte: da un lato chi difese la pubblicazione sostenendo che la rete di propaganda filoputiniana fosse un fatto accertato, dall'altro i diretti interessati, che annunciarono azioni legali contro il quotidiano per diffamazione.
È da qui che riparte Giorgio #Bianchi, tornando sul tema ai microfoni di Un Giorno Speciale a partire da una vicenda più recente: un'indiscrezione, ripresa da El Mundo e attribuita a fonti dell'intelligence, secondo cui la #Russia starebbe pianificando attacchi in #Europa, con Italia, Spagna e Francia tra i possibili obiettivi.
