La deputata di Noi Moderati Michela Brambilla, presidente della Commissione parlamentare per l'Infanzia e l'Adolescenza, ha depositato un disegno di leggeper riformare il sistema di affidamento dei minori in situazioni di difficoltà. Lo ha annunciato la stessa Brambilla in una conferenza stampa alla Camera insieme a Catherine Birmingham e Nathan Trevallion, i genitori della "famiglia nel bosco".«Questi bambini - ha spiegato la deputata - sono stati portati via sulla base di una decisione di un Tribunale sulla base di una relazione di un assistente sociale, che si era recata solo 5 volte a casa solo, di cui 2 accompagnata dai carabinieri, immaginiamo con quale armonia, e senza interprete. La relazione è stata redatta dopo solo 5 visite. Quindi il rafforzamento di questa fase istruttoria è fondamentale per evitare errori. Nel nostro ddl c'è una modifica importante: prevedere una commissione interdisciplinare che redige una relazione che affianca quella dei servizi sociali per dare al giudice maggiori elementi per prendere decisioni giuste", commissione di cui fanno parte "con pedagogisti, neuropsichiatri, psicologi dell'età evolutiva, professionisti».
