The US-Israeli war on Iran has sent the price of plastic soaring as much as 60 percent, in one of its most important trading hubs - China's Plastic City.Production depends on petrochemicals, a huge portion of which comes from the Gulf.
But rising oil prices and the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz are creating turmoil across global supply chains.
