USA: Trumps neue Zölle treffen europäische Autoindustrie! EU warnt vor Eskalation im HandelskonfliktDie Europäische Union und die Wirtschaft kritisieren Trumps Pläne, höhere Zölle auf Fahrzeuge aus Europa zu erheben. Brüssel behält sich Gegenmaßnahmen vor, sollte sich das Weiße Haus nicht an das vereinbarte Handelsabkommen halten. Unter dem Strich stehe für beide Seiten eine vorteilhafte transatlantische Beziehung im Vordergrund. Trump will die Zölle auf Autos und Lkw aus der EU ab kommender Woche auf 25 Prozent erhöhen. Der US-Präsident begründet das damit, dass sich die EU nicht an das Handelsabkommen halte. Der deutsche Verband der Automobilindustrie mahnt, die EU müsse alle Abmachungen endlich umsetzen. Zusätzliche Abgaben würden die Automobilindustrie hart treffen.
