Langkah ini sebagai bentuk solidaritas Indonesia pasca-serangan militer Israel ke ibu kota Qatar.
Di Istana Lusail, Prabowo disambut Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
Pertemuan berlangsung hangat dan membahas situasi regional.
Sekretaris Kabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya menyebut kunjungan itu menunjukkan dukungan Indonesia bagi rakyat Qatar.
Prabowo menyampaikan simpati mendalam kepada korban dan menegaskan komitmen Indonesia terhadap kedaulatan Qatar.
“Diplomasi yang berlandaskan kemanusiaan, keadilan, dan perdamaian adalah bagian penting demi masa depan yang lebih stabil,” kata Prabowo dalam pernyataannya di Doha.
Ia menyerukan solidaritas internasional menghadapi agresi yang bisa mengganggu stabilitas kawasan.
Diplomasi berbasis kemanusiaan dinilai penting untuk masa depan yang lebih damai.
Serangan Israel pada Selasa (9/9/2025) menewaskan lima anggota Hamas dan satu personel keamanan Qatar.
Qatar menyatakan akan merespons bersama mitra kawasan.
KTT Arab-Islam dijadwalkan berlangsung Minggu (14/9/2025) untuk merespons eskalasi konflik.
Emir Qatar menyambut baik dukungan Indonesia dan menekankan pentingnya kerja sama diplomatik.
